Week #3 Thing #7

In a separate effort from Web 2.0, I have been working with GoogleDocs with my teaching team at school. I really like the real-time activity on it, and I like being able to know from the window who else on my team is working on the same page as me. I can IM with them while we work in our own classrooms too. When we all have very full class schedules, chances to discuss things that we have to document like this get scarce. Technology is a good tool, just need to get used to it being a toy, too!
Week #3, thing #6

osumike's Library of Congress trading card is my fave. Beautiful photo, and I'm right in line with his reserve... I think for the digital toys we also need to have a less reserved mindset. But I'm not there yet..... Mankind can create and do beautiful things, but we ourselves are never going to be permanent
Week #3 Thing #5
Checking out Flickr, I went for Interesting on my birthday (9-11).
Found a place I'd really like to see in person... Someday!

Avatar...

Hit or miss on figuring out how to add the avatar... "Help" told me to click a link that wasn't there.... Did anyone else find this? But here it is at last!
Wishful thinking? We're all entitled to it!

Getting Rolling...

Week #2, Thing #3
So, having read the intro stuff, I'd have to say the "viewing challenges as learning opportunities" might just be my tough spot. On the up side, there must be a ton of them, once the viewpoint changes...
